I Spy Quilt

I am slowly returning to quilting after summer holidays and kids getting back to school.  I am looking forward to getting back into our normal routine and quilting.

The quilt I would like to share today is a bright and colourful I Spy Quilt made by my customer Lisa.  Lisa has done a great job, using a huge range of prints and tying them together beautifully with the plain blue sashing and the great border prints.

As the quilt has a lot of busy prints, we decided to quilt it with an all-over star design.

Lisa's quilt has been made as a gift for a young boy - I am sure this quilt will provide hours of entertainment and be treasured for a long time to come.

  1. What a gorgeous quilt for a little boy! Love the star quilting design ~ really appropriate for a child's quilt.

  2. What a terrific quilt for a child- I can certainly see many hours of enjoyment in spotting all the wonderful items. Great design and great fabrics!

  3. What fun!! I found myself spying lots of fun fabrics. The star quilting is a perfect choice, it's also like starry night time, time for bed.

  4. I found you today while admiring a Dresden Plate quilt that you quilted back in August! It is STUNNING!!!!! I am also a big fan of the I Spy quilts~they are such company for the little ones...I will visit again!

  5. That's so adorable! I love that the busy fabrics are separated by the blue. And a really cute quilting design to top it off!

I really appreciate your comments - they will appear shortly.
